Omar Abdel Rahman is a famous Emirati football player of Yemeni origin, nicknamed Amouri. 


His talent was evident since his childhood, when he was playing in the lanes of Riyadh, until he was discovered by Abdel Rahman Issa, and then began playing in the Saudi Al Hilal Club until 
2005.


Before an offer from the UAE club Al Ain and joined him with his brothers, he was included in the club to the first team.

Omar Abdul-Rahman Ahmed Al-Raqi Al-Amoudi was born in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on September 20, 1991, to his father, former football player Abdul-Rahman Ahmed Al-Raqi, of Yemeni Hadrami origin. He has three brothers, Ahmed, Muhammad, Khaled and Omar, the youngest of them.



Omar Abdul Rahman grew up in a humble environment, and was passionate about football at a young age, as he was playing with his brothers in Malaz Square in Riyadh, until scout Abdul Rahman Issa noticed him and asked him in favor of which club he plays, so he told him that he does not 


play in any club and does not have Saudi citizenship in the first place. So, Issa asked to communicate with his family, and Omar Abdel Rahman began playing in tournaments and tournaments.

In 2000, Abdul Rahman started playing with the Saudi Al Hilal Club, and he was included in the club from the buds to the juniors and remained in the club until 2005, when Sheikh Nasser bin Thaloub contacted

The family moved to the UAE and all of them obtained Emirati citizenship, and Omar Abdel Rahman joined the Al-Ain external camp in Germany.


In 2007, Abdul Rahman joined Al Ain Club Academy School, at first he played for the U-16 category, then U-18, then U-19, and the reserve team, and after seeing him play German coach Winfried Schaefer in 2009 when he played in the Al Ain U-20 Championship. 17 and included him in the first team.

Abdul Rahman played with Al Ain Club in the Arab Gulf League, and won the cup for the 2011-2012 season, 2012-2013 season, 2014-2015 season, 2017-2018, and Abdul Rahman also played with the UAE youth team in the Arabian Gulf Cup U-23 for 2010. And the Emirates won against Kuwait 1-0.

Then he played with the national team in the 2013 Arabian Gulf Cup, and the UAE national team won, and Abdul Rahman won the title of 
best player in the 2013 Gulf Cup.


Abdul Rahman also won many titles, including
 the best Emirati player in the UAE League for the 2012-2013 season, the 2014-2015 season, the 2015-2016 season, and the 2017-2018 season, and he won the title of best passer for the 2013-2014 season and 2015-2016 season.

Abdul Rahman won the Golden Ball for the best Arab player for the year 2015, as well as the award for the best player in Asia, the best Gulf player, the best Arab player for 2016, and the most valuable player in the 2016 AFC Champions League.

On August 8, 2018, Omar Abdel Rahman joined the Saudi club Al Hilal on loan, and Al Hilal won the Saudi Super Cup for the year 2018 over Al Ittihad with a score of 2-1, and on August 8, 2019, Omar Abdel Rahman signed with Amer Abdel Rahman in the UAE club Al Jazira for a period of three seasons.
